September 13th is Windows Update Tuesday! Thursday the 15th is the day to install Windows updates.
Updates are downloading SLOW. Keep trying. It may take days! Don't stop the process, you go back to the end of a very long line!
Wait until Thursday the 15th before looking at the updates. You should turn the power settings in Control Panel to Never. You can use your computer while you are waiting for updates,
Double Click on the Windows Update Icon on your desktop.
Remember; Only Important Security Updates, Updates, Cumulative Updates.
The "Malicious Software Removal Tool" is OK! It is Microsoft's custom Virus Scan! get it!
No Optional, Windows Live, Bing Desktop or Bing Bar or Windows 10.
